BCCS Intramural Basketball Program is a program for grades two through four that provides scholars with an opportunity to learn and further develop basketball related skills in a fun and safe environment.  The program runs for 8 weeks with “clinic” days, where scholars rotate through stations focusing on various skills, such as dribbling, shooting, and defense.  There will also be “game” days, where scholars divide into teams and receive additional guidance related to skills and strategies.  This program is an opportunity for our scholars to not only develop sport related skills, but also promotes positive social development.  It is a fun, active learning experience.

BCCS SUNS Basketball Team offers students the opportunity to participate in the Albany P.A.L. Basketball League, develop basic basketball skills and learn how to successfully participate in organized sports.  Currently, the BCCS Suns hold the first place trophy for the 2010-11 season.
