Financial Support

In addition to raising program support from foundations, corporations and government sources, Brighter Choice Charter Schools (BCCS) rely on the generosity of private donors to help us fill the gap between per capita government funds and our annual budget.  Donations to BCCS are tax deductible as allowed by law and may be made in a number of ways.

Gifts from individuals are made by cash, check, or credit card. Read more information on how your donation will help support the Brighter Choice Charter Schools.  Please refer below for more information about ways you can give.

We also welcome the opportunity to give a tour of the schools to individuals and groups who are interested in supporting our work. Please contact The Development Office at 518-694-4115 to learn more.

By Appreciated Securities
It is easy to make a tax-deductible gift through appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares. Your tax deduction will be based on the full market value of the securities at the time of transfer and the gift will avoid capital gains taxes. Please contact the Brighter Choice Foundation Office or call us at 518-694-4115 to give appreciated securities.

By Matching Gift
Your employer may match your gift. Please contact your human resources department to obtain the proper form, fill it out, and simply enclose it with your donation. We'll do the rest.

By Memorial gift or Honorarium
There is no better way to honor the memory of a friend or loved one than through providing service to others in their name. If you would like to give a gift in memory or honor of an individual, please print this friendly form and mail it, along with your check, to:

By In-Kind donations
Brighter Choice Charter Schools accepts a wide range of in-kind gifts for use in all program areas or specific departments. To make a gift, contact the Brighter Choice Foundation Office and we will put you in touch with the appropriate department.  Here is the list of items needed.
